My name is Melissa Maxon. I am currently a senior at Michigan State
University and was accepted into The School of Hospitality Business in 2006. I
have always loved art and design and after participating in my brother's New
York botanical garden wedding, I knew that my creative dreams could be met
in the event planning industry. I am very involved in my sorority and enjoy
planning and executing all events. I pay close attention to detail and design
and am devoted to making your special day flawless!
Amanda Freeman first joined the staff of Bliss Weddings as an intern and
assisted on many weddings to become familiar with the detailed process of
event planning. Upon completion of her internship, Amanda excitedly
accepted a coordination position and began taking her own events. She is
now the owner and couldn't be happier.
To date Amanda has become a true asset in her field. She has developed
life-long relationships with clients and vendors alike and couldn't imagine
her life being any other way.
Bliss Weddings' mission is to create a memorable day for each and every one
of our client's. The planning process, as stressful as it may become, should
always be as enjoyable as the wedding day and each event should be treated
as something unique and personal. No two weddings are ever alike and it
is important that our clients receive very personal attention. Amanda
recently had the experience to plan her very own wedding (January 25,
2008!) and understands first hand that this is a very emotional and exciting
journey. She also understands the trust it takes to place your special day
into someone else's hands. Her excitement and love of being a part of such a
memorable event is what keeps her motivated to excel in wedding industry.
